Registered Podiatry Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Member of Sports Medicine Australia
Natalie completed her Batchelor of Biomedicine with an Anatomy major before studying Podiatry at LaTrobe University. Throughout her study she developed a key interest in biomechanics and pathways to injury and rehabilitation in a sport setting. She is also interested in both diabetes related concerns of the lower limb, and paediatric development, and the ongoing management of these conditions.
Natalie is a member of Sports Medicine Australia and continues to keep up the current research on management of common sports injuries. She has been involved in the vast range of sports and has competed in athletics at a state and international level, giving her an insight into the types of injuries many athletes can develop, and the personal experience of how an injury can impact everyday life. Natalie’s experience as an athlete and an athletics coach has given her the opportunity to be immersed in biomechanics and techniques that can contribute to the injury, and how to address these without impacting performance.
Outside of work Natalie enjoys spending time with her family, playing the piano and trialling new sports.
