Hayley completed Her Podiatry degree at Curtin University in Western Australia. She worked in Perth for a couple of years before moving to Victoria to seek new adventures. Hayley has been working at South East Podiatry for just over 9 years now and loves the friendly team environment they have. Working as a podiatrist for just over 12 years has exposed Hayley to a large variety of foot and ankle problems. Through thorough assessment, correct diagnosis and treatment she has kept many people on their feet.
Hayley is a member of Australian Podiatry Association as well as Sports Medicine Australia and Australasian academy of Podiatric Sports medicine. She enjoys participating in continuing education each year to help further her podiatric skills and knowledge. She is also trained in Dry needling therapy.
Growing up Hayley was involved in a lot of dance. It was her love of dance that got her interested in podiatry in the first place. Seeing peers injure themselves with ankle sprains, stress fractures and overuse tendinopathies and seeing how debilitating it can be to their sport and lifestyle made her want to actively take part in helping those people back on their feet and prevent such injuries from occurring in the first place.
Hayley’s interest in podiatry is mainly biomechanics and sports podiatry. Her other interests are paediatrics, nail surgeries and diabetic foot care.
Outside of work Hayley loves visiting Perth, spending time with her fiancé and dogs and going to the footy.
