David studied at LaTrobe University in Melbourne and has worked as a Podiatrist for South East Podiatry since graduation. He has along-side a multidisciplinary team consisting of physiotherapists, Myotherapsists and team trainers for the past 2 years. David has always had a keen interest in sports and sports related mechanics but since working as a Podiatrist has developed a passion for the field and is constantly looking at new and improved ways to help his patients get the best results possible.
David has a strong report with the community and has worked with many local sports teams to help them achieve their best at all times with an emphasis on always striving for the best outcomes for his patients.
David has undertaken numerous post qualification studies including dry needling, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, biomechanical studies, injection therapy and soft tissue pathologies. David is a member of the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, he has a great understanding of patients needs and has strong a emphasis on detailed assessment and a holistic approach to all of his patients.
David’s clinical interests are in Sports podiatry, Biomechanics, Paediatrics and injury prevention but has a strong knowledge base in all aspects of clinical podiatry. He has used the last four years at South East Podiatry to expand his clinical knowledge and has now taken on a management roll helping junior staff members with developing into the exemplary and professional clinicians that have become rightly expected at South East Podiatry.
